How To Help
Below you will find the ways we can help. It is
important we all help this cause. Do what you can, donate, volunteer,
contact people, write to congressmen, but do something! Chandlers
headstone was paid for by donations but it does not stop there.
There is still work to be done. Please read each cause and do what
you can in Chandler Grafners name.

DONATE IN CHANDLER GRAFNERS NAME
For over 100 years, Tennyson Center for Children has been
changing lives and giving hope to kids and families throughout
the Rocky Mountain region. At Tennyson Center, children
and families have a full spectrum of resources to help them
gain insights, support and healing through a variety of
programs including residential treatment, special education/day
treatment, and community-based in-school, in-home and family
services. |

Those who knew him remember
Chandler Grafner as a little boy who liked to draw pictures
of himself in castles. So when some Holm Elementary
School community members wanted to build
a memorial for Chandler, they decided to erect "Castle
Chandler" in the kindergarten playground.
Playground has been paid for! Thanks to everyone. |

Colorado CASA |
Colorado
CASA is the statewide coordinating agency for CASA in Colorado.
Nationwide, the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)
program, created in 1977, has over 900 member agencies that
train volunteers to speak up for abused, neglected or abandoned
children in the court. CASA volunteers are appointed to
gather information in child abuse and neglect cases and
speak to the court on behalf of the needs of the children.
CASA, serving more than 206,000 children in the United States
each year, was instituted in Colorado in 1985. Currently,
there are 14 CASA programs in Colorado.
Colorado CASA advocates for the best interest of abused
and neglected children by promoting and supporting the development,
growth and continuation of quality CASA programs and services
to benefit children throughout Colorado. |

Denver CASA |
CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates,
is a nationwide program of volunteers who are appointed
to abused and neglected children in the Juvenile Court System
and then make recommendations to the judge for the children’s
long-term welfare. Simply put, our CASA volunteers speak
up for these children and help them find safe, permanent
homes. They also develop a relationship with the children. |
